Mr. Walter “Lee” Foster, age 61, of Switzerland County, Indiana, entered this life on November 3, 1960 in Batesville, Indiana. He was the son of the late, Donald E. Foster and Norma Lee (Lockridge) Brown. Lee worked construction and was a driver for Daniel Girod for 22 years. He was united in marriage on July 20, 2012 to Pamela Sue Heath in Carrollton, Kentucky. Lee enjoyed going fishing and hunting, and loved donkeys and working in construction. Lee attended the Brooksburg Baptist Church in Brooksburg, Indiana. Lee passed away at 10:24 a.m., Sunday, August 28, 2022, at his residence.
Lee is survived by his wife of 10 years, Pamela Sue (Heath) Dowdy Foster of Switzerland County, IN; his daughter, Amy Thomas and her husband, Rick of Madison, IN; his son, Scotty Foster and his wife, Becky of Madison, IN and his grandchildren, Allison Rent, Christopher Rent, Alivia Foster and Isabella Kilborn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald E. Foster and Norma Lee (Lockridge) Brown.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022, by Pastor John Hart, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2022, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles, Indiana.
