Mr. Randall L. “Randy” Dickerson

Mr. Randall L. “Randy” Dickerson, age 67, of East Enterprise, Indiana, entered this life on November 1, 1957 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late, Wilford C. “Bill” Dickerson, Sr. and Jewell Ray “Judy” (Clemons) Dickerson. Randy was raised in Switzerland County and was a 1975 graduate of Switzerland County High School. Randy was inducted into the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged with the rank of Private on June 9, 1976. Randy was united in marriage on August 1, 1998 to Michelle Ann McMurray in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They shared nearly 27 years of marriage together until his passing. Randy owned and operated Shell Gas Station in Patriot, Indiana for several years. He was also employed for RS Home Sales as a construction worker from 1998 – 2012. Randy also delivered newspapers for the Vevay Newspaper for a few years. Randy was a former mason and loved playing his guitar, watching NASCAR and sports, especially the Reds and Bengals. He also enjoyed fishing and socializing with his family and friends. Randy passed away at 5:31 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at his residence in East Enterprise, Indiana.

Randy will be missed by his wife, Michelle Ann (McMurray) Dickerson of East Enterprise, IN; his sons, Joshua Tapp and his wife, Lisa of Houston, TX, and Jesse Bailey and his wife, Becca of Patriot, IN; his daughter, Jade Dickerson of Newark, DE; his grandchildren, Kinley Tapp, Abigail Tapp and Karter Tapp; his brothers, Rod Dickerson and his wife, Sue of Vevay, IN and Sonny Dickerson and his wife, Kelli of Rising Sun, IN; his sisters, Priscilla “Toy” Smith and her husband, Gardy of Patriot, IN, and Judith Langford of Reno, NV and his several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford C. “Bill” Dickerson, Sr. and Jewell Ray “Judy” (Clemons) Dickerson; his infant son, Shawn David Dickerson, died April 29, 1978 and his daughter, Jewell Ann Dickerson, died August 27, 2000.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 4, 2025, by Pastor Patrick Lanman at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery in Patriot, Indiana with full military rites conducted by the Honor Guard of the Vevay American Legion Post #185 and the Vevay VFW Post #5396.
