Mr. Billy Don Romans, age 60, of Patriot, Indiana, entered this life on September 10, 1962 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Bill was raised in Patriot, Indiana and was the son of, William George “Willie” Romans of Patriot and the late, Beverly Jean (Miller) Romans. Billy attended Patriot Elementary School and the Switzerland County High School. Billy was united in marriage to Joey Lynne Williamson and they were blessed with a son, William “Billy” Nicholas Romans. Billy helped several farmers in Switzerland County for several years. He was also employed for Richardson’s Industry in Vevay, Hilltop Basic Resources and Swiss Caps in Patriot, Grand Victoria in Rising Sun and R Houston & Son in Ghent, Kentucky. Billy enjoyed canoeing, yard work and hanging out with his friends. Billy passed away at 5:25 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2023, at The Waters of Rising Sun in Rising Sun, Indiana.
Billy is survived by his father, William George “Willie” Romans of Patriot, IN; his sisters, Teresa Miller and her husband, Dale of Rising Sun, IN and Charjeana Thomas and her husband, Gale of Patriot, IN; his aunt, Joyce White of Rising Sun, IN and his nieces and nephews, as well as, his great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, William “Billy” Nicholas Romans, died November 5, 2011; his mother, Beverly Jean (Miller) Romans, died August 7, 2014; his sister, Karen Sue Huber, died December 31, 2011; his nephew, Michael Wayne Davis, died March 5, 1985; his grandparents, Samuel Brown Romans, died May 1956 and Charlotte Dorothy (Freeman) Romans, died September 27, 1995 and Rodie Franklin Miller and Faye Elizabeth (Knoll) Miller-Estes and his aunts and uncles.
Private family services are being held.
