RIPLEY COUNTY, IN — A motorcyclist was flown to the hospital following a crash at the intersection of State Road 101 and Spades Road north of Milan Sunday night.
The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office says 45-year-old Fred Hamilton of Harrison, Ohio was northbound on State Road 101 just after 8:30 pm when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit the back of another vehicle.
Hamilton was the only person injured in the crash and was taken by helicopter to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment.
In addition to the Sheriff’s Office, the Milan Fire Department and Ripley County EMS responded to the scene.
