(Brookville, IN) – A longtime Franklin County canoeing company and tourist attraction is under new ownership.
The sale of Morgan’s Canoe and Outdoor Adventures in Brookville closed last week.
New owners Brogan and Chelsea Orcutt say the operations that draw thousands to the area each summer will continue.
In fact, the 54th season for the popular canoeing, kayaking, rafting, tubing, and camping destination along the Whitewater River kicks off later this month.
The Brookville location was listed for sale in January, shortly after the original owners announced they had permanently ceased operations along the Little Miami River northeast of Cincinnati after more than 60 years.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
