(Indianapolis, IN) – Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales is visiting more than 50 counties in less than two months.
Morales says he is meeting with local leaders to discuss ongoing initiatives including the growth of the IN My Community program, investor education efforts, and ongoing voter registration activity.
One of Morales’ visits took place in Brookville when he participated in the Franklin County IN My Community event (pictured).
He’s also encouraging international relationships to foster sister city partnerships, cultural ties, and attract investment with the goal of creating good paying jobs for Hoosiers.
“Connecting with Hoosiers in every corner of the state is a top priority. By visiting all 92 counties, I am not only able to understand the unique needs of each community but also share the resources and initiatives that can help them thrive,” Morales said. “This round of visits has been especially meaningful as we work together to strengthen our local governments and ensure that the services we provide are impactful and successful. I am committed to highlighting our Hoosier towns, cities, and counties on a statewide and international level.”
This latest round marks the third time Morales has visited every county in Indiana since taking office.
Morales visited all 92 counties within his first six months of taking office.
Last year, he visited all 92 counties in three months.
More visits are planned in the coming weeks and months.
