Moores Hill Man Arrested on Drug Charges

(Moores Hill, IN) – A drug investigation that began in late November 2024 culminated in the arrest of a Moores Hill man on Sunday.

Forty-nine-year-old Jerole Adams was taken into custody following a traffic stop on State Road 350 in Moores Hill.

Adams was under investigation after Dearborn County Sheriff’s Detective Sergeant Adam Ziegler received information that the suspect was dealing methamphetamine in and around Dearborn County.

The Sheriff’s Office says multiple meth purchases from Adams were made by undercover detectives during the investigation.

After Adams was arrested, investigators say a search of his vehicle and residence turned up suspected methamphetamine, cocaine,  magic mushrooms, marijuana, prescription meds, drug paraphernalia, a handgun and close to $5,000 cash.

Adams is charged with Dealing in Methamphetamine – over 10 grams; Dealing Methamphetamine – possession with intent to deliver over 10 grams; Dealing in Cocaine or Narcotic Drug – possession with intent to deliver over 10 grams (all Level 2 felonies); Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 4 felony); Possession of a Syringe (Level 6 felony); Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class A misdemeanor), and Possession of Marijuana (Class B misdemeanor).

He is also on parole stemming from a 2004 case in Dearborn County, in which he was convicted of Dealing Methamphetamine.

Adams is currently housed in the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center.
