(Batesville, IN) – Margaret Mary Health, in collaboration with the Ripley County Community Foundation, has announced this year’s Doris A. Brelage Nursing Scholarship recipient.
Daniela Blanco, a 2024 Batesville High School graduate, is the recipient of the $500 scholarship.
She pursuing her nursing degree from Xavier University.
The Doris A. Brelage Nursing Scholarship was established shortly after the local nurse and EMS member lost her life in an accident in 2008.
She worked at Margaret Mary Health providing care to Southeastern Indiana residents for 37 years.
