Batesville, IN — Jonathon Maple has accepted the position of Executive Director for the Margaret Mary Health Foundation.

Maple brings 10 years of philanthropy and community engagement experience through his multiple roles at Oldenburg Academy. Most recently he was responsible for institutional advancement, grant writing, fundraising, and special events at Oldenburg Academy, in addition to his responsibilities as Assistant Principal and classroom educator.

In a press release, the Margaret Mary Health Foundation said his passion for philanthropy, with demonstrated success in securing financial support as well as community support, will further advance the Foundation’s mission to ensure the hospital’s legacy of quality and compassionate care continues for generations.

“I am thrilled that Jonathon has accepted the position of Executive Director,” said Mary Dickey, current Margaret Mary Health Foundation Executive Director. “It has been an honor to serve the Foundation for the past 9 years and I am certain that under his leadership it will continue to have a significant impact on improving the health of our communities through the funding of hospital programs, services, and technology,”

Over the next several months, Maple will work alongside Dickey on the Foundation’s day-to-day operations as she provides direction, insight, and support until the position is fully transitioned to Maple’s leadership this fall.

“I’m honored to start my new career. I have a calling to enter the philanthropic world and this opportunity is one that I could not pass up,” said Maple. “I’m so excited to continue community partnerships and raising money for the health and well-being of Southeastern Indiana through an incredible hospital.”
