Metamora, In. — Search teams in Franklin County found the missing 14-year-old girl sitting along the banks of the Whitewater River Saturday around 1 a.m. alive. She was about two miles from where she had last been seen. As a precaution, she was transported to Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati.
The search was conducted by the Laurel Police Department, Indiana Conservation Officers, Urban Search and Rescue, Buckeye Search and Rescue, Indiana State Police, Hamilton County (Ohio) Sheriff’s Department and volunteers.
