Middle School Boys Basketball Results

Basketball HoopsThe Batesville 7th grade basketball team lost to a good Rushville team 43-32.

Batesville was led in scoring in by Trey Heidlage with 19 points.  Heidlage also led the team with 5 assists an 5 steals. Sam Haskamp collected 3 steals on the defensive end as well.

Trey Heidlage, Tyler Myers, and Luke Belter all had 2 deflections on defense too while Cooper Williams was the team leader with 5 rebounds.

BMS will be in action next Monday night for the beginning of the SEI tournament at home vs South Ripley.

The Batesville 8th grade lost to Benjamin Rush 33-28.

1Q – 12-5 BMS; 2Q – 16-12 BMS; 3Q – 21-20 Rush.

Isaac Barker had 14 points, Tristian Lamppert – 4, Evan Straber – 3.

The team left a few points at the free throw line as they were 9-17 and finished with 12 turnovers.

The team is 4-12 heading into the SEI tournament on Monday.

The St. Louis 7th Grade Basketball Cardinals defeated St. Nicholas by the score of 42-17.

Robert Raver and Sam Giesting led the Cardinals in scoring. All members of the team played and contributed to the victory, including Ryan Laloge and Thomas Raver. LaLoge entered into the scoring column for the first time tonight.

The Cardinals ended the regular season with a 14-5 record.

The St. Louis 8th grade boys basketball team lost to St. Nicholas in their final regular season game.

Gavin Koester got the start and played great defense on St. Nick’s primary ball-handler.  Koester also hustled for many loose balls and grabbed 5 rebounds in the loss.  Stuart Lamping and Baird Tuveson led the Cardinals in scoring.

St. Louis travels to South Dearborn Monday for the first round of the SEI Tourney.
