Marvin F. “Buster” Hacker, 65, Milan

Marvin F. “Buster” Hacker, 65, of Milan passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at his home with his loving family by his side. Marvin was born on Sunday, April 3, 1960, in Lawrenceburg; son of Marvin Fred Hacker and Mary Sue (Lykins) Hacker. Marvin married Terry (Steinmetz) Hacker, on July 31, 1989, and she survives him. He was a member of the NMLRA and coached archery at Milan for 10 years. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. He loved spending time outdoors as well as taking care of the garden and mowing the lawn. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and dirt track racing. Most of all Marvin cherished time spent with his family.

Marvin will be missed by his wife Terry Hacker of Milan; daughters Amanda (Jon) Beisel of Milan and Heather (Brandon) Schutte of Highland Heights, KY; brother Jeff (Gayle) Hacker of Sunman; sister Wendy Fronk of Sunman; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Mary Hacker and brothers-in-law Don Fronk and Rick Haessig.

Family and friends may gather in remembering Marvin from 9:00-11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Services will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Jason Benge officiating. Burial will follow at River View Cemetery in Aurora. Memorials may be given in honor of Marvin to Interim Hospice Care or American Cancer Society.
