Greensburg, IN — Greensburg Mayor Joshua Marsh outlined successes and ongoing initiatives during his State of the City address Monday afternoon before the Greensburg Rotary Club.

He began his remarks by saying the city’s finances are in excellent shape.

Among the accomplishments, Marsh cited the work of the police and fire departments, utility staff, the new water plant going online, completion of the Comprehensive Plan, and securing funding and partnering with Decatur County for Phases I and II of the Park Road project.

He also noted the success of the Make My Move initiative and READI projects and celebrated community accomplishments such as the Honda Civic Hatchback – which is manufactured exclusively in Greensburg – being named the 2022 North American Car of the Year; and the year-long partnership with Visit Greensburg in rolling out Bicentennial events.

The event took place in the Decatur County REMC Community Room.
