Mark Cubert, 62, of Moores Hill passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020 at his home in Moores Hill with family by his side. Mark was born Wednesday, May 21, 1958 in Ohio, the son of Charles and Ruth Ann (Schuler) Cubert. Mark retired from General Electric after 41 years and was a member of UAW #647; and he was the past president of the Moores Hill town board. He enjoyed listening to music, old rock and roll, especially Led Zepplin. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren; and enjoyed watching the grandchildren play baseball.
Mark is survived by sons Michael (Heather) Cubert of Greensburg and Dylan Cubert of Bright; daughter Misty Cubert of Moores Hill; step-daughters Kelly (Wesley) Keith of Rising Sun and Kerry DeBorde of Bright; mother Ruth Ann Cubert of Wilder, Kentucky; brother Patrick (Carla) Cubert of Independence, Kentucky; sisters Diana (Abbe) Kasirosafar of Highland Heights, Kentucky and Michelle (James) Brazier of Florence, Kentucky; and eight grandchildren.
A service celebrating his life will be held 1 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Sibbett-Moore Funeral Home in Moores Hill with Pastor Donald Buck officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Moores Hill. Family and friends may gather to share and remember him 10 AM – 1 PM Wednesday also at the funeral home.
