(Batesville, IN) – Margaret Mary Health’s new hospital on State Road 229 north of the I-74 interchange in Batesville is rounding into shape.
Construction on the $115 million facility began in late May.
“As you drive by our Six Pine Ranch campus, you’ll notice an improved view of our new hospital now that the large industrialized construction center tent has been removed from the front,” said hospital officials in a statement.
The workforce is steadily increasing, with an average of 160 tradespeople working on the project each day throughout June.
The exterior is taking shape with ongoing brick and stone masonry, and window installations are progressing.
Inside the building, progress is being made on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Framing and drywall installation also continue, and painting has begun.
The new hospital is scheduled to be operational by late summer 2026.
