Margaret Ann (Fannin) Dulaney, 87, Milan

Margaret Ann (Fannin) Dulaney, 87, of Milan passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at her home with her loving family by her side. Margaret was born on Wednesday, May 18, 1938, in Black Fork, Ohio; daughter of Asa and Juanita (Monk) Fannin. She worked for Proctor and Gamble for many years as a lab technician. She married the love of her life, Richard “Dick” Dulaney, on September 19, 1970, and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2025. Margaret enjoyed cooking, sewing, and going shopping. She also loved gardening and was known to have a green thumb and could make any plant able to grow. Most of all Margaret loved spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.

Margaret will be missed by her son Randall Messer of Florida; daughters Angela (Scott Johnson) Dulaney of Milan, Marlena (Gary) Bruns of Milan, and Tamara Smith of Sunman; brothers Steven (Deborah) Fannin of Florida, Danny (Liza) Fannin of Ohio, and Marvin (Lan) Fannin of Virginia; sister Ramona Jarrells of Ohio; daughter-in-law Andrea Messer; 25 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Dick Dulaney; son Dana Messer; daughter Brenda O’Dell; brothers Billy Fannin and James Fannin; and daughter-in-law Donna Messer.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be given in honor of Margaret to Ripley County Humane Society.
