Marcella Iona Shuter, 81, of Milan, Indiana, formerly of Aurora, Indiana passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
She was born November 13, 1941, in Aurora, IN, daughter of the late Charles Dameron and Anna (Withered) Dameron.
She was a longtime member of Mt. Sinai United Methodist Church.
Marcella worked in customer service at CVS retiring after 25 years of service. After retirement from CVS Marcella went to work at Walmart and Big Lots. She was a farmer’s wife and helped out on the Shuter Family Farm. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She volunteered many years helping out with 4-H and the Flower Show. She loved Nascar and enjoyed watching the college basketball teams play. Her favorite past time was time spent with her family.
Marcella is survived by her children, Penny (John) Schiller of Milan, IN, Earl (Andrea) Shuter II of Aurora, IN; grandchildren, Andrew, Ellie, Adrianna and Carissa; sisters, Marjorie Beardsley Gardner, Victoria Gaines, and Helen Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Anna; first husband, Edward Akes; husband, Earl Wayne Shuter Sr.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Mt. Sinai United Methodist Church.
Memorial Services will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Burdsall officiating.
