Greensburg, In. —Democrat incumbent mayor of Greensburg, Dan Manus has announced his bid for reelection. Manus won by a 41-votes margin over Gary Herbert in 2015.
Manus told the Greensburg Daily News he is proud of his efforts to improve city services.
“Please understand, I don’t take full credit for these accomplishments,” Manus said. “I received tremendous support and cooperation from other local leaders and elected officials. We have worked as a unified team, regardless of politics, to pursue shared goals and significant projects. We have focused our efforts on specific projects we believe will improve the quality of life in our community. These improvements will also help us promote Greensburg and Decatur County as an attractive, desirable place to live and work.”
Some key accomplishments have been the addition of a south side Greensburg fire station, expansion of the trash & recycling program and road improvements.
