A Greensburg man is facing charges as police suspect him of domestic violence and threats to a woman and her two children.
Stephen Foster, 27, was booked in the Decatur County Jail Tuesday under suspicion of domestic battery, strangulation and pointing a firearm.
According to the Greensburg Daily News, police were notified of alleged violent incidents that occurred earlier this month at a home on West Park Road.
Investigators say Foster pushed a woman to the ground while in the presence of her child and also choked her with his forearm.
Foster has a personal protection permit for a firearm in Indiana. A relative met with police July 3 and asked for them to take a gun away following the incidents.
Police met with the victim who claimed Foster threatened her with a knife a few years ago. In another instance, authorities allege Foster also made threats with a shotgun to the woman and her two kids.
