(Decatur County, IN) – On Monday, we told you about a pair of Decatur County police officers who served as president of their respective classes at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Plainfield.

We’ve now learned that a third local officer held the same role.

Brandon Jones is a Decatur County Sheriff’s Deputy who was president of Class 226 several years ago.

Greensburg police officer Curtis Keppel was president of the most recent graduating class at ILEA.

The first was former Decatur County Sheriff’s Deputy Darin Lucas, who presided over Class 125 in 1996.

He retired from the sheriff’s office in 2011.
