Lula M. Rose, age 78, of Sunman passed away Monday, April 4, 2022, at Margaret Mary Health, Batesville. She was born June 5, 1943, to Lucian and Marie (Davis) Grace in Lovely, KY. Lula was married to the late Henry Rose II, who passed away June 27, 2015. She was a home maker but was known to help part time at Hassieg Market and Hair Unlimited in Sunman.
Lula loved the outdoors and being in the sunshine. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in her yard tending to her gardens. Lula enjoyed designing flower arrangements and decorations for special occasions.
Lula is survived by one son: Rick (Amy) Kurelic of West Harrison; grandchildren: Chris and Cheyenne Wells, Brandon Wells; great-grandchildren: Aleeah Kurelic, Hunter Kurelic, Gunner Kurelic, Kimmy Wells, Joey Wells; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lula was preceded in death by her father: Lucian Grace Sr.; mother: Marie Sartin, husband: Henry Rose II; brothers: Johnny Grace, Lucian Grace Jr; sister: Ann Runyons; daughter: Kim Kurlic Wells.
To honor and respect the wishes of Lula the family has chosen direct cremation with no public service. Private burial will take place at a later date in Kentucky.
