Love’s Railroad Inn opens in Napoleon

Napoleon, In. — Love’s Railroad Inn on U.S. 421 in Napoleon is now open.

The name is inspired by the history of Napoleon as a key stop along the Underground Railroad in the 1800’s. Two Napoleon residents opened the “Railroad House Hotel” in 1852 and quickly modified the building with a trap door, hidden rooms and tunnels to help slaves journey to freedom. The entrance to the tunnel survives today.

Love’s Railroad Inn has a great menu and weekend entertainment!
