(Hamilton, OH) – Two nursing students at the Miami University regional campus in Hamilton, Ohio – one of whom is from Franklin County – are being honored as life savers.
Brookville native and sophomore Brayden Osborne and junior Reed Stewart took turns performing CPR on a faculty member who had collapsed on December 11.
The instructor emailed Stewart – who is from Loveland, Ohio – a few weeks later, thanking the pair for helping save his life.
Paramedics says Osborne and Stewart’s quick action helped ensure a good outcome.
Both Osborne and Stewart say their training gave them the courage and confidence to step in and handle the situation.
The students did not know each other before they performed their life-saving heroics.
