Local Communities Receive CCMG Dollars

(Statewide) – Six local communities are among 191 Indiana cities, counties and towns receiving $100 million in state matching funds through INDOT’s Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG) program.

Local recipients and the amounts are:

  • Brookville – $281,656.80
  • Dearborn County – $481,871.89
  • Decatur County – $491,348.23
  • Franklin County – $951,431.04
  • Ripley County – $974,285.60
  • Versailles – $68,496.32

“When we invest in roads and bridges through these Community Crossings grants, we’re helping communities attract new jobs, support Main Street businesses, and enhance quality of life for Hoosier families.,” said Gov. Mike Braun. “I’m grateful for the strong partnerships with our local leaders who are putting these dollars to work building a better Indiana.”

CCMG, which has provided over $2 billion for local road projects since 2016, funds everything from street paving to bridge replacement.

Gov. Braun, Secretary of Transportation and Infrastructure Matt Ubelhor and INDOT Commissioner Lyndsay Quist made the formal presentation Tuesday in Delphi (pictured).
