Greensburg, Ind. — On Thursday, FaithPoints Church in Greensburg hosted a lunch for the Law Enforcement community. Six officers enjoyed sandwiches, potato salad, chips, drinks and dessert provided by church members.
This was in conjunction with National Police Week which President Kennedy developed in 1962 to honor the men and women of law enforcement.
Pastor Michael Layne is a former police officer and understands the life of a law enforcement officer and the need for the church to reach out to all segments of the society.
