Linda Lee (Shoby) Franklin, 65, of Milan passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at her residence in Milan. Linda was born on Monday, April 23, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan; daughter of William and Dolores Shoby. Linda married the love of her life, Michael “Mike” Franklin, in May 1984. Linda attended the Hope Baptist Church. She worked in the retail business for 30 years as a supervisor. She enjoyed cooking and watching old westerns. She loved spending time with her family, especially going to the grandchildren’s sports games.
Linda will be missed by her husband, Michael “Mike” Franklin, of Milan; son Christopher Franklin of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; daughter Michelle (Eric) McKittrick of Milan; and grandchildren Easton and Grant McKittrick.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, William and Dolores, and daughter Danielle Shoby.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Linda from 3 – 5 PM on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following at 5:00 PM with Pastor Tom Holt officiating.
