Linda Delores Schmidt, age 69 of Sunman, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at her home. The daughter of Pete Richard and Angeline (nee: Arnold) Walter was born on September 15, 1948 in Lawrenceburg, IN.
Linda worked for many years as an over the road truck driver for Baylor and JB Hunt. She was a member of Grace Church in the Valley in Lawrenceburg.
She is survived by her son Wayne (Cheryl) Schmidt of Sunman; grandchildren, Cameron, Sierra, Jenna & Alena Schmidt; along with one brother Allen Walter of Milan, IN. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers Frank, Jim and Paul Walter, and her sisters Barbara Hacker, Jeannie Sorensen and Dorothy Devoll.
Friends may call from 2:30-4pm with a 4pm Memorial Service immediately following, all on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Meyers Funeral Home. Pastor Roger Webb officiating. Memorials may be given to the family c/o the funeral home.
