Life-threatening injuries caused by motorcycle accident

FRIENDSHIP, Ind.—Sunday around 5 p.m. on State Road 62 a motorcycle and car collided causing life-threatening injuries to one of the drivers.

Curtis Burnham, 73, of Osgood was eastbound driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle when he struck another vehicle. Brandon Reeves of Madison was westbound turning into a nearby driveway when Burnham struck his vehicle on the passenger side.

Burnham was ejected from his motorcycle and landed in the roadway. Wearing no helmet at the time of the wreck, the 73-year-old was airlifted by Air Methods to UC Health.

Remaining in stable condition at UC Health, Burnham is battling the possibility of life threatening injuries.
