Leslie K. “Tinker” (Charles) Joyce, 65, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Friday December 20, 2019 at her home, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born December 15, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio, of the late Bud and Miriam (Stephenson) Charles. She worked for Mercy Health Care, retiring after over 28 years of service. Tinker was a dog lover, especially her dog, Mimzy. She enjoyed flower gardening, and vacations at the beach. Tinker loved time spent with family, most of all in her backyard pool, with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful Wife, Mom and Nana and will be missed by her family and many friends.
Tinker is survived by her loving spouse of 39 years, Robert “Bob” Joyce,(She was the “Love of His Life” and he told her so daily.) children, Melody (George) Morgan of Lawrenceburg, IN, Jamie (Glenda) Lacey of Dillsboro, IN, Angie (Nate Courtney) Dirkhising of Hebron, KY, Peggy (Keith) Clapp of Lawrenceburg, IN; grandchildren, Makayla Dirkhising, Macy Morgan, Robert Gilb, Max Morgan, Caitlyn Dirkhising, Michael Gilb, Marissa Lacey, Jamie Lynn Lacey, Keil Clapp. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Robert Harold Northcutt, and Larry “Babe” Northcutt.
Friends will be received 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, immediately following visitation, with Pastor Robert Northcutt officiating.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
