(Statehouse) – State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) co-chaired the first Rural Caucus meeting of 2024 on Wednesday, January 24 at the Statehouse.
The caucus discussed the impact of California Proposition 12 on the agriculture industry, reviewed a research update on aviation fuel and discussed other issues pertaining to rural Indiana.
Leising represents Senate District 42, which includes Decatur, Fayette, Ripley and Rush counties, and portions of Franklin, Jennings and Shelby counties.
