(Statehouse) – State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) chaired the fifth Rural Caucus meeting last week.
A number of legislators were in attendance and heard presentations from transportation experts about how Indiana’s agriculture industry can benefit from better roads, as well as how to uphold the state’s title as the “Crossroads of America.”
Leising represents Senate District 42, which includes Decatur, Fayette, Ripley and Rush counties, and portions of Franklin, Jennings and Shelby counties.
