Lawrence W. (Larry) Bird, age 68, of Brookville, Indiana died Friday, March 22, 2019 at his residence
Born February 20, 1951 in Shelbyville, Indiana he was one of three children born to the late Frederick & Mable (Alter) Bird. He was united in marriage to the former Joyce A. Halcomb, and she preceded him in death on June 29, 2012.
Larry was retired from the former Ford/Visteon in Connersville, where he had worked for many years.
Survivors include a brother, Frederick Bird of Panama City, Florida; as well several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife Joyce, he was preceded in death by a sister Jean Ann Bird.
Family & friends may visit from 1 until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will then follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
