Lawrence “Larry” Cochran, age 82 of Lawrenceburg, Indiana passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Ripley Crossing in Milan, Indiana. Born April 28, 1938 in Rising Sun, Indiana the son of Ernest and Mabel (Hand) Cochran.
Larry graduated from Rising Sun High School in 1956, married Bonnie Beesley on February 22, 1975 at St. John United Church of Christ in Harrison, Ohio and worked as a truck driver for Seagram in Lawrenceburg, Indiana for over 25 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Rising Sun, Shriners South Eastern Indiana and Local Teamsters Union.
Survived by his wife Bonnie Cochran, his children DeeDee (Jerald “Junie”) Cochran Brown, Richard Cochran, Mark (Lisa) Sefton and Cathy Lozier. Grandfather of twelve and great grandfather of twelve. Also survived by his sister LaVerne Allen.
Preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Mabel Cochran, daughter Vicky Stegall and daughter in law Pam Cochran.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at 1:00 P.M. with Brother Don Thomason officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will follow at Rising Sun New Cemetery in Rising Sun, Indiana.
