Larry W. “Pete” Mitchell, 73, of Versailles, Indiana, formerly of Lawrenceburg, IN passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, in Versailles, IN.
He was born September 8, 1948, in Lawrenceburg, IN, son of the late John Louis Mitchell and Ada (Spence) Mitchell.
Pete was a kind and gentle person. He loved to talk and joke around with people. He loved babies, loved to eat, walk, fish, and watch cartoons. Pete loved everyone and everyone loved Pete. He will be missed.
Larry W. “Pete” is survived by his siblings, Helen (Mickey) Ross of Lawrenceburg, IN, Doris “Dodie” Lozier of Aurora, IN, Deloris Beach of Lawrenceburg, IN, Shirley (Bill) Herald of Lawrenceburg, IN, Donald (Julie) Mitchell of Lawrenceburg, IN; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, John & Ada (Spence) Mitchell; siblings Henry Mitchell, Gerald “Sonny” Mitchell, Alma Boggs and Janie Beach.
Graveside visitation will be Friday, September 24, 2021, 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm at the Gibson Cemetery
Graveside Services will follow at 12:30 pm with Billy Clark officiating.
