Larry Lee Ostendorf, 77

Larry Lee Ostendorf, 77, of Greensburg passed away on October 1, 2023. He was born on January 2, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Charles and Margaret Simon Ostendorf. He was a 1964 graduate of Jac-cen-del High School. Larry was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Larry worked for Cummins for 32 years and retired in 1995. On December 6, 1987, he married Carol Risk. He was a member of the New Point Christian Church and the NRA. He loved his dogs, hunting, sitting with his morning coffee group, and eating good food at local restaurants.
Survivors include Wife, Carol Ostendorf; Children, Randy (Vicky) Ostendorf, Bill (Wilyn) Ostendorf, Aaron (Nancy) Ostendorf and Wendy (Doug) Barbee; Grandchildren, Michael (Kaitlyn) Ostendorf, Michelle Ostendorf, Tommy Ostendorf, Mirielle Ostendorf, Shelby Ostendorf, Joseph Wayne Ostendorf, Andrew Barbee, Mikayla Barbee; Great Grandchildren, Cohen Gauck, Anthony Barbee and Judith Barbee; Sister, Donna (Chris) Pugh; Brothers, Keith (Debbie) Ostendorf and Gerry (Linda) Ostendorf; Sister in Law, Donna Risk; and Brother in Law, Carl W. Risk. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Brother, Dale Ostendorf.
A funeral service for family and friends will be on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will follow until 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm.
