Lance Alexander Baldwin

Lance Alexander Baldwin, 29, of Pershing, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021. He was born on Sunday, March 8, 1992 in Dearborn County to his loving mother, Karen (Hume) Baldwin. Lance worked for TS-Tech as a Seat Assembly Technician and was most currently attending Community Bible Church in Milton, Indiana. Lance seemed to be quite a character who loved to joke around and get a smile out of anyone he crossed paths with. Whenever he had time, he made sure to watch his brother race and enjoyed every minute of it. Lance had a special appreciation for his vehicles, especially his truck. He could normally be found listening to music, spending time at the flea market, or going camping when the weather allowed it. Lance adored lights of all sorts and would add extra to any vehicle, television, or even his Christmas tree just to give it a special touch that only he had. Above all, Lance loved his family more than anything. Every minute spent with his family and his children was one to cherish, and he certainly did.

Lance will be deeply missed by his mother, Karen Baldwin (Gary Norman) of Osgood; fiancé, Makayla Miller, of Pershing; son Bentley Baldwin of Pershing; daughers Aubree Baldwin of Pershing and Shea Monroe of Columbus, Indiana; brothers Gary Hume (Cassie Wallace) of Osgood, William Baldwin-Huffman (Halie Wolpert), Nathanial Baldwin (Mikayelah Oakley); and additional family member Sandy Souder of Versailles. Lance is preceded in death by his fiancé’s father, Robert L. Miller.

Family and friends are invited to share and remember Lance on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home. A service officiated by Pastor Tom Holt will follow immediately at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Old German Lutheran Cemetery in Milan. Memorials may be given in honor of Lance to the family.
