We had a great night playing Northeastern at home. We came out strong and won set 1. Tried to push through set 2 but lost by 2 points and then stayed ahead of ourselves to take set 3 and set 4 25-19, 24-26, 25-15, 25-22. Rachel Bischoff had a great night serving with 4 ace serves along with 7 digs. Jenn Orschell had 2 ace serves and 2 digs. Megan Getz had 1 ace serve, 6 digs, 2 kill and 7 assists. Meredith Bohman had 1 ace serve, 3 blocks, 1 dig, and 6 kills. Layne Steele had 2 blocks and 3 assists. Kaitlyn Obert had 2 blocks. Anna Sacksteder and Makyah Richardson each added 1 block . Jalynn Rogers had 5 digs. Kelly Layton had 3 digs and 3 assists. This team has the ability to go far as long as we continue to play the way we did tonight!!! After tonights win, it brings our season record to 9-13. We are FC!! We play at home again this Thursday, Sept. 20th against EIAC team Lawrenceburg. JV game starts at 5pm. Come out and support your Lady Cats!!!! Our thoughts and prayers go out to teammate/player #11 Kelsey Vail.
