The girls were able to finish the match with a win at Lawrenceburg. They pulled together as a team to overcome the set 1 loss. Alex Disbro and Anna Andres stepped up to lead the team at the serving line, and they were especially effective with their short serves and overall aggressive serving. Disbro was all over the court digging balls, especially in the corners. The middles, Rosemeyer and Miller, anchored our offense, which was led by setter Allison Huismann. Freshman Charson McCory stepped up with some intensity at the net, and Grace Egbers was able to add intensity to keep plays alive. It was a good win for the girls. They improve their record to 7-2. They face Madison at home on Saturday.
