The Lady Pirates took on the South Dearborn Knights, which concluded with the Pirates losing 8-0. They struggled again to hold off attacks from the opposing team, as they played most of the game with their backs against their own goal. Keeper Madeline Shrader would see 17 shots on goal allowing 7 to settle and Keeper Emma Hostetler would see 4 shots on goal allowing 1 to settle.
This brings the Lady Pirates to 4-9 on the season and 1-5 in the EIAC Conference. Their next action is Thursday, September 28, away against Connersville. The game time is 5:30 p.m. Their last regular season game is also away at Triton Central on Saturday, game time is 10 am. The Lady Pirates sectional play will be next Thursday, October 5th, where they will face Madison Consolidated, game time is 7:00 p.m. The Lady’s sectional host this year is Batesville.
