The Greensburg Lady Pirates hosted EIAC foe and Class 3A #15 East Central Tuesday evening and fell 9-0.
The Lady Trojans showed their ability quickly as they scored two goals in the first two minutes. Throughout the half, the Lady PIrates forced two offsides and were able to hold the visitors scoreless over 8 minute periods. The skill, knowledge, and ability of the Lady Trojans proved to be too much as scored six goals in the final 20-minutes.
Keirsten Lynette had 11 saves and Emily Lowe recorded 4 saves on the evening while the East Central defense did not allow the Lady Pirates to record a shot on goal.
The loss drops the squad to 1-9 and 0-3 in EIAC play. The Lady Pirates will host Shelbyville Thursday evening and celebrate Senior Night prior to the 5:30 PM kickoff.
