The North Decatur Lady Chargers had no trouble on offense today, winning big over The Knightstown Lady Panthers 11-1.
ND got on the board in the first inning scoring on a stolen base during Keisha Crosland’s at-bat. Then Crosland doubled, driving in two.
Haley Arthur got the win for North. The lefty surrendered one run on three hits over five innings, striking out 12. B Brider took the loss for K-Town. The pitcher went four innings, allowing 11 runs on 11 hits and striking out two.
The Lady Chargers racked up 11 hits. Crosland, Sarah Swain, Kaylin Muckerhide, and Kacie Ogden all had multiple hits with Ogden, Muckerhide, Swain, and Crosland each managed two hits to lead ND. North stole six bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Morgan Stanley led the way with three.
