North Decatur Varsity won in 3 Sets. 25-17, 25-22, 25-15.
We played very consistent tonight which I was pleased to see. Our serve receive had minimal errors and all around, everyone stepped up and contributed in their role to get our second win of the season. Kara Muckerheide was consistent in the role of setter tonight, setting 83/83 with 26 assists and adding 11 digs. Emma Luttel did a nice job stepping up as a setter when Kara would take first ball and set 11/11 with 3 assists. Offensively, Erika Kramer had 13 kills, Erica Gauck had 12 kills and Olivia Bohman had 10 kills. Defensively, Maddy Day added 14 digs, Olivia O’Dell had 12 digs and Erica Gauck added 11 digs. Other notable stats include Erica Gauck adding 5 Aces.

The Lady Cats fell to North Decatur tonight but we played a great match. Just didn’t seem to get all the stars to align just yet. Meredith Bohman lead the team with 8 kills. She had 1 dig, 2 blocks and great serves. Megan Getz had 11 assists, 3 kills, 2 digs and 2 ace serves. Jalynn Rogers had 10 digs and her serves were great. Jenna Orschell and Layne Steele each had 1 kill. Rachel Bischoff had 4 digs. Anna Sacksteder had 2 blocks. We are so close to breaking the WIN barrier!!! We get closer and closer with each game we play. Varsity team travels to the Madison Invite this Saturday. Game time is 9 am.
