St. Louis 7th Grade Volleyball
The St. Louis Cardinal 7th Grade Volleyball team fell short against the North Decatur Charges. 25-19, 25-10.
The Cardinals came out strong in the first game and kept it close until the end. Although, the Cardinals struggle to get anything started in the second game. Hope Kroen served up 6 points followed by Kate Weber with 3 points and Allie Savage with a 1 point. Lilly Schebler and Kroen passed well to setup for the offense. The offense was led by Isabell Wonnell and Olivia Freeland at the net with a spike each.
St. Louis 8th Grade Volleyball
St. Louis Cardinal 8th Grade Volleyball Team started out slow in the first game but stepped it up to pull it out in the end. Although, the Cardinals pushed the first game out they were sluggish in the second and third game. 24-25, 25-16, 15-3.
The top servers were Chelsea Robertson and Ellie Cornett with 7 points and 5 points respectively. Audrey Beiser contributed 3 points followed by Regina Gerstbauer with 2 points and Elizabeth Gigrich and Ava Allen 1 point each. The offense was led by Faith Tekulve with 11 spikes which includes 3 kills.
