The Batesville Girls Varsity Tennis Team finished out the regular season by defeating Franklin Co. 4-1 on Monday. Batesville finished the regular season with a 10-2 duel match record while going 6-1 in the EIAC.
#1 Singles- Lydia Olsen won 6-1, 6-1
#2 Singles- Erin Longstreth won 6-3, 7-5
#3 Singles- Julia Hunter was defeated 4-6, 4-6
#1 Doubles- Brooke Bradford and Kelli Hartman won 6-1, 6-1
#2 Doubles- Macy Simon and Karsen Worthington won 6-0, 6-0
In JV, the Bulldogs won 6-2 which gave them a perfect 10-0 record on the season. In singles, Alana Pinckley, Rachael Rose, and Audrey Weigel were all winners. The doubles teams of Anna Kick/Grace Heppner, Magge Schwettman/Jenna Harmeyer, and Baylee Rohlfing/Jill Hartman were all winners.
The Varsity will play in the EIAC tournament at Greensburg on Thursday and Saturday.
