The 8th Grade Lady Bulldogs suffered another loss last night to a talented Sunman-Dearborn Team 52-29.
They came out with the tip and scored a quick 2, but the defense of Sunman-Dearborn was just too much for them to overcome finding themselves down 20-3 in the first quarter. The 2nd quarter brought 6 more points, but the girls were unable to stop the them. They worked hard in quarter 3 to try to chip away at the lead. They worked harder in quarter 3 working the ball, getting in some shots, and winning that quarter 15-10. Every girl contributed something positive in the basketball game.
They were lead in scoring by Katie Brewer 11, followed closely by Kenzie Laker with 9. Chloe Saler had 5 and Denise Davalos and Kerigan Haskamp each dropped in 2.
They will be in action on Thursday at Greensburg. Keep working hard girls.
The 7th grade loses 39-10.
