The 7th Grade Lady Bulldogs went on the road and defeated the Connersville Spartans 42-27 to improve to 11-3 on the season.
The girls jumped out to a 14-3 lead in the first quarter and finished strong with 10 points in the fourth quarter. Leading the way scoring was Ava Hanson (14 points), followed by Emma Weiler (10 points), Makayla Granger (6 points), Timbre Davies (6 points), Ashlee Cornn (2 points), Jadyn Harrington (2 points), Ella and Wilhelm (2 points).
The girls finish up a three game road trip and the regular season on Thursday at Brookville. (5:30 pm).

The Batesville Lady Bulldogs used a last second 3-pt field goal by Ashley Nobbe to defeat the Connersville Lady Spartans on the road 35 to 34.
Paige Dunaway hit a breakaway layup with 1.6 seconds remaining to put the Lady Spartans up 34 to 32. After advancing the ball to half court, and a pair of timeouts, Ashley got the inbounds pass with 0.8 seconds remaining. She turned and let go a 3-pt field goal that hit nothing but net to give the Lady Bulldogs the victory. Other scorers for the Lady Bulldogs were Carley Pride with 8, Calley Kaiser added 7, Breanna Wells had 5, Gabby Elston scored 3, and Sarah Ripperger had 2.
Paige Dunaway led all scorers with 23 for the Lady Spartans. Other scorers for the Lady Spartans were Hannah Sizemore with 6, Ryonna Payton added 3, and Molly Clark chipped in 2.
The win moves the Lady Bulldogs record to 10 wins and 4 loses for the season. The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Brookville on Thursday night to battle the Franklin County Lady Wildcats. The 7th grade game will tipoff at 5:30.
