Lady Bulldogs Sweep Lady Chargers In Middle School Hoops

The 7th Grade Lady Bulldogs beat North Decatur on the road Saturday 33-18 to improve to 10-3 on the season.

The girls jumped out to a 22-6 lead in the first half and never looked back. It was another strong team defensive performance by the Bulldogs. Leading the way scoring was Ava Hanson (15 points), followed by Emma Weiler (9 points), Makayla Granger (3 points), Sophie Myers (2 points), Timbre Davies (2 points), and Megan Meyer (2 points).

The girls make the long trip to Connersville on Tuesday for a 6 pm tip off with the Spartans.  Good luck and bring home a win!

The BMS 8th Grade Lady Bulldogs improved their record to 9 and 3 on the season with a 43-16 win over the North Decatur Lady Chargers.

After a close first quarter the Lady Bulldogs turned up the heat defensively, and found the basket offensively to gain the victory.  The Lady Bulldogs were led in scoring by Ashley Nobbe with 12 points all coming via the 3-pt shot.  Other scorers for the Lady Bulldogs were Calley Kaiser with 10, Breanna Wells added 7, Sarah Ripperger scored 6, Carley Pride had 5 and Gabby Elston added 3.  The Lady Chargers were led Erin Schwering with 8.  Other scorers for the Lady Chargers were Kalyn Muckerheid with 4 and Phoebe Cartwright and Lilli Tatman each with 2.

The Lady Bulldogs will return to action on Tuesday night as they travel to Connersville to play the Lady Spartans.  The seventh grade game will tipoff at 6:00 p.m.
