Lady Bulldogs Sweep Lady Cards In The Battle Of Batesville

The 7th Grade Lady Bulldogs traveled across town to beat St Louis 48-2 last night.  The Bulldogs shutout the Cardinals in the first half, and played team basketball on offense with nine girls scoring on the evening.

Leading the way was  Emma Weiler, Megan Meyer, and Ava Hanson with 8 points each, followed by Makayla Granger with 7 points, Tiffany Hawker 6 points, Ashlee Cornn 4 points, Ella Wilhelm 4 points, Timbre Daives 2 points, and Jadyn Harrington 1 point.

The Bulldogs improved to 5-1 on the season, and will look to protect their home floor tonight against Greendale at 5:30 pm.  Come out and support the Bulldogs.

The BMS 8th Grade Lady Bulldogs came out strong last night, and defeated the St. Louis Lady Cardinals by a score of 43-17 to improve their season record to 5 wins and only 1 loss.

An aggressive defense and a balanced offense led by Breanna Wells, who also led all scorers, with 11. Other scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were Carley Pride with 10, Ashley Nobbe and Sarah Ripperger each scored 8, Gabby Elston added 4 and Calley Kaiser with 2.

The Lady Cardinals were led by Emma Weberding with 8. Other scorers for the Lady Cardinals were Faith Tekulve with 3, and 2 points each from Ava Allen, Lilly Wonnell and Kate Voegele.
