Lady Bulldogs Basketball Results

The Batesville Lady Bulldogs played at home for the final time this season and suffered a 48-39 loss to Greensburg. 

The Lady Bulldogs fell behind early in the game but bounced back to keep the game close the rest of the way. 

The Lady Pirates led 22-16 at halftime and later by 11 at the end of the third quarter. The Lady Bulldogs did outscore Greensburg 12-10 in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to make up the deficit. 

Batesville was led in scoring by Sarah Ripperger with 11 points and Carley Pride with 10. Calley Kaiser had a team-high nine rebounds, while Makayla Granger had six steals.

The Batesville Girls C-Team was victorious over South Dearborn 28-17 on Friday Night. Kaylin Hinners led the Dogs in scoring with 12 points. Elaney McGuire led in steals with 6 and Billie Puente had 4.  Rhea Miller led in rebounds with 4.  Other scorers for the night for the Bulldogs were: Rhea Mille with 7 points, Elaney-4, Claire Saner-3, and Lizzy Nobbe with 2 points.  The C-Team will compete again on Monday at the Spartan Bowl where they will take on East Central in the first round of the C-Team tournament.

 

The Lady Bulldog JV team took on the Greensburg Pirates at home on Saturday Afternoon..  The ladies had a tough time getting the ball through the hoop and went down 37-25. Ava Hanson was the leading rebounder with 9 as well as scorer with 12 points.  Ava also led the team in steals with 4.  Other scorers for the dogs were: Kaylin Hinners-6 points, Madelyn Pohlman, Claire Saner and Olivia Raab with 2 points each and Billie Puente had 1.  The Lady Bulldogs will finish out their season this Tuesday as they travel to Columbus to take on Columbus East.
