Kristina Mahalia Jones, 36, of Holton passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021.
She was born in Madison on October 30,1984 and was married to Adam Jones on October 17, 2009 and he survives.
Other survivors include her daughter Lilly Mahalia Jones; her son Jaxen Travis Marshall Jones; her father Alois (Tina) Asche of Holton and her mother Ella (Bill) Meyer of Batesville; her brother Dustin (Sarah) Asche of Holton; sister Heather (Jon) Humphries of Versailles; step-brothers Dustin, Eric, and Derrick Wade, and Jeremy Back; nieces and nephews Autumn, Layla, Kaiden, Kali, Konnor, Kaya, Audrey, Hunter, Bryce, Allie, Evelyn, and Grady; uncles and aunts Jerry (Dosha) Asche of Holton, Sue (Omer) Bradley of Holton, Bobbie Poynter of Barboursville, Kentucky, and Eva (Jeff) Byard of Versailles. Leroy Comer of Osgood and his late wife Louise were Kristina’s adopted grandparents.
She was a 2004 graduate of South Ripley High School and was a former employee of the Manderley Health Care Center in Osgood. She was currently employed as a health care worker at Aspen Place in Greensburg.
Kristina was a member of the Dabney Baptist Church and also attended the Holton Christian Church and the Union Flat Rock Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with Bro. Bob McCreary and Rev. Malvin McCullough officiating. Burial will be in the Tanglewood Cemetery.
Memorials will be taken for Kristina’s children in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles.
